5K race starts at 9:00 am and begins and finishes at the Peg Bond Center in downtown Batavia. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Suicide Prevention Services.

SPS America

Suicide Prevention Services of America is Here for Life. Their mission is to open minds, save lives and restore hope through prevention, intervention and postvention, using education, advocacy and collaboration.

Founded on May 29, 1998, SPS America is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization with a staff of Master Degrees or higher, and volunteers and interns. They also have a Board of Directors who volunteer to meet regularly to review the work. Certification is completed every five years by the American Association of Suicidology.
