The Marshall Tucker Band got its start in 1972 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, borrowing the name "Marshall Tucker" from a piano tuner whose name was found on a key ring in their old rehearsal space. For years, the Marshall Tucker Band has played sheds, stadiums, theaters, fairs and festivals, wowing critics and fans alike with their definitive blend of rock, rhythm & blues, jazz, country and gospel and hits like "Can't You See."
Formed in 1975, Jacksonville's Molly Hatchet melds loud hard rock boogie with guitar jam-oriented Southern rock. Their self-titled debut went platinum in 1978 and the follow up ''Flirtin' With Disaster'' went on to become one of the best recognized Southern rock albums of all time.
For 40 years, Southern rock legends The Outlaws have celebrated triumphs, endured tragedies and survived legal nightmares to remain one of the most influential and best-loved bands of the genre. Songs like ''Green Grass and High Tides Forever'' have defined Southern rock for a generation.
Original Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle and his band bring more than just the ultimate tribute to Ronnie Van Zant's Lynyrd Skynyrd, they bring high-energy, true to the music and true to the era show.
